St. Scholastica's Center For Spirituality

St. Scholastica's Center for Spirituality was founded by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica's College in Manila for the purpose of retreats and  "seeking God" program venue. The place is very solemn, very relaxing, cool weather and most of all plenty of yummy foodies.

St. Benedict of Nurcia, founded a monastery at Monte Cassino while St. Scholastica founded a convent 5 miles away from Monte Cassino.

It covers a vast expanse, providing a safe haven for over 3,000 animals from more than 600 species, many of which are native to the Philippines. The zoo's mission is not only to entertain but to educate and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our biodiversity.

The zoo offers interactive encounters with some of its residents, including the chance to feed gentle deer or have a parrot perch on your arm. Such experiences foster a deeper appreciation for these incredible creatures.

A World of Habitats:

Avilon Zoo's exhibits are designed to mimic the natural habitats of the animals. Stroll through lush rainforests, traverse arid deserts, and explore aquatic ecosystems all within the span of a single visit. This thoughtful design immerses visitors in the animals' worlds and encourages a deeper understanding of their needs and challenges.

Conservation Initiatives:

Beyond providing a home for diverse species, Avilon Zoo actively participates in wildlife conservation programs and collaborates with national and international organizations to protect endangered animals. By supporting the zoo, visitors contribute to these vital conservation efforts.
